About the Role

For a  new international high tech customer we are looking for several Test Automation Engineers. Our customer is a global market leader for measurement technologies. Your duties will include:

  • Design test cases based on requirements and use cases
  • Ensure the effective implementation of component / system tests in collaboration with Product
    Owner and other technical roles (e.g. test developers, software developers, product managers etc.)
  • Provide feedback on quality and consistency of requirements and specifications (testability of
    requirements, usability of user interface, more accurate effort estimations, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain the test environment
  • Perform manual and automated system tests
  • Helps to ensure that developed project adheres to non-functional requirements by executing tests
    targeted to these business values (stability, performance, error handling, etc.)
  • Report test results to the Product Owner regarding depth and overall coverage of testing
  • Create and maintain Robot Framework libraries for testing automation

About you

Apart from being an amazing, honest and funny personality you should bring those skills:

  • You have an engineering degree in the relevant field (Bachelor or Master)
  • 2+ years of experience in test automation (e.g. Robot Framework, …)
  • 1+ years of experience with Python
  • Experience with test methods, test strategies and processes
  • Analytical and systematic working style
  • Affinity to work in an international environment
  • You have a service-oriented mindset, focus on quality and are customer-centric
  • You feel comfortable in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban), have a teamwork mindset and ready to help and teach your team mates
  • You have good communication skills in English (written and spoken)

It is nice if you have:

  • Experience with Docker, Git, Jira, CI tools or have a ISTQB certification or similar
